Hi! I’m Alexandra (Alex for short), proud owner of Knot Just Hair Studio in Selden. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years, and I love helping people look and feel their best. Whether you’re here for a fresh haircut, gray coverage, custom color, highlights, smoothing treatments, scalp wellness, or simply a little time to relax, my goal is to help you leave feeling confident, refreshed, and cared for. As a special needs mom, I understand that everyone experiences the salon differently. My personal experiences have taught me that kindness, patience, and understanding can make all the difference and that’s why Ive geared Knot Just Hair Studio to to not only have quality salon services for everyone, but to be a welcoming, judgment-free space where everyone feels comfortable, relaxed and most importantly safe. Cancellation Policy
📌 STUDIO POLICIES
Cancellation / No-Show Policy
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
Clients arriving 10 or more minutes late may have their appointment canceled or rescheduled at the stylist’s discretion, and any deposit or booking fee will be forfeited.
No-shows or failure to notify the studio of cancellation will result in forfeiture of any deposit or booking fee.

Deposit / Booking Fee Policy
Certain services require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward the service total and will be forfeited in the event of a no-show, late cancellation, or appointment canceled due to late arrival.
Extra Notes
• My studio is a cozy but small space. To keep the environment safe, calm, and comfortable, please limit additional guests at your appointment (exception: parents/guardians accompanying their child).
• Consultations are required before booking color, blonding, or smoothing services to ensure the appropriate time and product are reserved.
• Professional aftercare products are highly recommended to maintain your color and smoothing results.
• Payment methods accepted: Cash or card.
• Gratuities are appreciated but never required. Cash tips are preferred (please inquire for other options).
